About Me
I'm a former adjunct lecturer in English (University of Miami and Miami-Dade College) and a one-time ESL teacher (Inlingua School of Languages, and EF Language School/ Florida International University). I began freelancing in the late 1970s, my work appearing in Essence, Writer’s Market ’85, and the now-defunct Encore American & Worldwide News, Showcase, Sepia, and Hep before taking a hiatus in the late 1980s. Included herein are articles published since my return to active freelancing in 2021.
